This is by far my oldest story. It's super basic and unoriginal but the characters are a huge part of my identity. Here comes the first Sacha Andersson, the original one. She's basically the "perfect" version of me (or at least what I thought she should be when I was a kid.
This story is deeply based on the TV show "The Saddle Club" and takes part in the real world, though I've invented the locations and everything. 3 horse-rider teens in a club, 1 evil princess-like nemesis and her lapdog bestfriend, horses, family issues, friends issues... There's everything the Saddle Club has, honestly.
The main characters are Sacha Andersson, Julien Courtois and Morgane Imbeaud (I don't know how I ended up taking a real celebrity name when I was sure I used made up names, but I managed to name her after a celebrity it seems... I don't want to change her name after all this time.). Sacha's family (huge one with 7 siblings) just moved to this new town and Sacha (13) goes to this new club and meets Julien and Morgane there. Julien is also a new one but Morgane was already there. She also meets Mélanie Bello Delino and Perrine Bebop, the two princesses who have expensive stuff and Mélanie is from a rich family. Mélanie tries to trick Sacha (no really this is a copy/paste from the Saddle Club at this point), she nearly get hurts, bla bla bla, the three first become friends at some point.
I'm a bit mean to my own story, 'cause I did a lot of stuff for a teenager-copy-pasted story actually. At some point a fourth character join the gang, Julie-Lidy Normand (nicknamed Julia). But honestly what's interesting is when they become adults and then I did a next generation story which is cooler (and even lesser focused on horse-riding). You already know the characters if you've read my Queer OCs page : Cannelle, Gray and Maïlys Andersson are Sacha and Julien's kids. Then there's also Julia's kids, Charlie and Lavande, and other teenagers from the same school, like Camille Rune and Jessica Lepin, who form a music band with Cannelle, joined next by american student Cheryl Matthews. It was focused on freedom of being yourself, more queer topics, against bullying etc... But I never wrote anything at all for this part of the story.
Oh, I didn't even told you but the gang formed by Sacha, Julien and Morgane is the "Clan des Poon's" (french, I'm still explaining of one my story in english while ALL OF IT IS IN FRENCH), "poon's" being a nickname I give to ponys. Yeah, I call ponys "poon's". I never made this stuff really as important as it is in the Saddle Club, where everyone do call the girls by this name and everything, it's just a name that sticks within their group but never really goes outside of it.
I created a lot of horses, nearly all of them based on my Schleich figurines that I had as a kid/teen. They all had a name and I made them into my story. Oh, no, even better !! I think my story started with my Schleich figurines actually ! I had the horse-club, horses, horse-riders and everything and I started creating characters based on this. I hadn't got Sacha, Julien and Morgane as figurines but all the adults, horses, Sacha's siblings etc... are actually based on my Schleich figurines.
I spent a lot of time on this story and even drew the horse club and the horses as a long drawing, sticking A4 paper sheets next to each other. I think it's still my biggest achievement ever in terms of width lol. I still have it somewhere. I loved it and was very proud of it.
I have old drawings of my main characters, but aside Sacha and her family, I don't think I've drawn the other ones recently. I always had a hard time drawing Julien because I want his hair to be perfect and can't seems to make it the way I want lol. Maybe I should try again. The kids have more recent drawing as I created them a few years after the main characters, when I was already a teen.
